Pressure-washed sidewalk advertising for SEPTA. This looks kind of cool. I haven't seen any in real life though. Good to be reminded that SEPTA is green, too.

Quiet Ride

Tony Green over at Mere Cat sounds a little like a hater, but he's really a lover, I can tell, with his archive of sounds recorded from SEPTA trains.  Very entertaining!

SEPTA on ice

Looks like a cold and nasty one out there.  There'll be delays for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists too, not to mention airplanes.  And yes, you on trains, trolleys and busses won't quite get where you're going as fast as you'd like.  

But isn't it awesome that we don't all have to drive or walk to school or work on a day like this? For two bucks, you can stay dry, relatively warm and not bust up your tailbone on some treacherous sidewalk.  Yay SEPTA!

This is just awesome.  One more reason I love SEPTA...free music!

This blog is about how much I love SEPTA and I hope to make the case for why you also should love SEPTA.  

Here in Philadelphia, we love our sports teams even when they lose, and we love our cheesesteaks even when their purveyors sometimes disappoint us.  And we sometimes love our cars.  Hell, we're the City of Brotherly Love.  We need to LOVE our public transportation...if even just a little.  

This Google search is pitiful.  There are enough haters out there.  Tell me what you LOVE about SEPTA.
